Senior Account Manager
In 2003 Rick Malarkey earned a Bachelors Degree in Horticulture at State University of New York in Cobleskill. Upon graduation he completed a internship program with Jacobsen Landscape Design & Construction in Midland Park, New Jersey. In 2006 he made the move to North Carolina and accepted a position as a supervisor for The Byrd’s Group. The following year he was promoted to an account manager. Rick serves as the senior account manager and his responsibilities are coordinating landscape management operations and client relations. He has received certifications from Vista Low Voltage Lighting installation and is a licensed in Pesticide Applications in
Sandra Monteiro, Susan Cossaboon, Giovanni Jarrin
James career interests started in upstate New York when he began working on a grounds crew to help put himself through college. Shortly after graduating with a degree in Business Management from SUNY Broome, he discovered his true passion was in the Green Industry. After years of on the job training and demonstrating leadership qualities, he was quickly promoted from foreman to manager. Looking to pursue his passions he moved south to join our team at The Byrd's Group where the landscape industry is more prevalent and year round.
